UPDATED: 2008-05-19 02:42:032008 - 2009 Commissioned Composers The HRCS Bands is pleased to announce our two new commissioned composers for the 2008 - 2009 school year. Mr. Rob Grice, Director of Bands for Dauphin Junior High School, in Enterprise, AL and Timothy Broege, Freelance composer have been selected to compose Holy Redeemer Catholic School's third and fourth commissions. Thes students will have the opportunity to study an instrument an perform with a concert band. The students will rehearse 2 days a week for 45 minutes and participate in a sectional one time per week. Welcome to the Band 5th Grade. Click her to meet some of our new members. All parents are invited to attend. The meeting will be about 35 minutes in length and will have a forum to update parents on volunteer activities, upcoming festivals and other business. May 8th Concert Congratulations to our fine performers who put on a great concert. A special thanks to the parents who sponsored a wonderful reception following the concert. Our next concert will take place on Thursday, October 14th at 7:00 PM. This will be a costume concert. More information to follow in the fall term. |
